Pete Summers runs for Rainbows Hospice

Pete Summers, a complete running fanatic and football fan is taking on a championship level challenge as part of DHL AS ONE Against Cancer Campaign during October and November 2024, running some 337Km, visiting top local footballs teams on route.

On the 19th October for the home game against Stevenage, you may have seen Pete and his team, Russell Garner and Andy Mitchell complete their final lap by running around the One Call Stadium pitch just before kick-off, raising money and awareness for the fantastic Rainbows Hospice, a hospice for children and young people. Pete and his team successfully ran a total of 46.5km on Saturday which is a tremendous achievement, running from the DHL EMA Hub to the stadium.

You can still donate to this fantastic cause. To donate, text DHL followed by your chosen amount to 70085 (you can give between £1 and £20). For example to donate £3, text DHL3.
