Meet your Community Heroes

This weekend, the footballing world comes together to celebrate the impact of clubs in their local communities as part of the EFL Community Weekend. Players will be wearing special EFL Community Weekend warm-up shirts ahead of the highly anticipated clash against Wrexham on Sunday, 23rd February.


As part of the celebrations, the Mansfield Town Community Trust has been given the privilege of nominating five exceptional individuals who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to their community. These community heroes will be recognised for their invaluable contributions both on and off the pitch.





Meet Mansfield Town’s Community Heroes:


Michel Kasinowicz – Leading Healthier Communities

As the Healthier Communities Manager, Michel has taken the sector to new heights, introducing transformative projects in Loutham Prison and day services. A passionate advocate for men’s mental health, his work has created a lasting impact on the well-being of many.


Lee Morris – Mental Health Advocate & Educator

With 15 years of experience as a Learning & Development professional, Lee has been instrumental in delivering important assemblies across the Mansfield area. His work focuses on mental health awareness and key messaging, helping to educate and support the community.

David “Beanie” Beastall – The Ultimate Mansfield Town Superfan

An Active Minds participant, David is known for his unwavering support for the Stags. Attending every single game, his passion and enthusiasm embody the spirit of the club and its connection with the local community.

Dave Mason – Walking Football Enthusiast

A vital figure in Mansfield Town’s Walking Football provision, Dave not only participates in tournaments but also plays a crucial role in developing and promoting the initiative. His dedication has helped to expand opportunities for older players to stay active and engaged.

Adam Glew – Championing Female Participation

Adam has played a key role in promoting female participation in football through initiatives like Squad Girls and Wildcats. Additionally, he serves as the Flag Bearer Coordinator on matchdays, ensuring young fans have a memorable experience.
