Mansfield Town Community Trust is delighted to announce its official designation as the voluntary train station adopters for Mansfield Town. This significant milestone is the result of our partnership with the Community Rail Partnership.

In this capacity, our organisation will undertake a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the train station's overall appeal and ensuring its smooth operation. These duties include the engagement of our PL Kicks participants in meaningful social action projects, such as litter picking and plantation initiatives. By involving our community in these projects, we aim to instill a sense of pride and responsibility for the station and the surrounding environment.

As the dedicated train station adopters, we are committed to the vigilant and proactive monitoring of station conditions. Our team will promptly report any issues or incidents, ensuring that the train station remains a safe and welcoming place for all passengers and visitors.

Community Manager, Gary Shaw, expressed his enthusiasm about this partnership, saying, "We are eagerly looking forward to collaborating closely with the community rail partnership on various upcoming projects. Being associated with this vital and historic part of Mansfield fills us with immense pride."

Mansfield Town Community Trust is deeply committed to its role as train station adopters and to making a positive impact within the community. This appointment represents a valuable opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our town's transportation infrastructure.
