Job Title: Casual Coach at Mansfield Town Community Trust

Mansfield Town Community Trust is seeking a Casual Coach to assist in delivering high-quality coaching sessions and programs to various age groups and abilities within the local community.


As a Casual Coach, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering coaching sessions in a safe and enjoyable environment. Coaches need to have the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and adults within the community. You will be able to assist across our range of programmes which include our PL Primary Stars delivery, Holiday courses, Saturday Activities, Female inclusion sessions and other community activities. You must be available to work from 12pm onwards, Mon-Fri.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions to various age groups and abilities

  • Create a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants

  • Assess the ability of participants and provide feedback and support to help them develop their skills

  • Communicate effectively with participants, parents, and other staff members

  • Ensure that all equipment is set up correctly and safely

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures

  • Attend training and development opportunities as required

Requirements:

  • Minimum of FA Level 1 coaching qualification

  • Knowledge of relevant coaching practices and techniques

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative

  • A passion for coaching and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and adults within the community
